About Sara
A clinical, whole body approach
I work with adults experiencing ongoing or recurring health concerns, including fatigue and low energy, digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, stress, anxiety, and mood changes.
Many people come to see me feeling that something isn’t quite right, even when test results appear “normal” or symptoms don’t fit neatly into one category. My role is to help make sense of these patterns and understand what the body may be communicating.
Understanding the bigger picture
Symptoms matter, but they’re rarely the full story.
I take a whole-body, evidence-informed approach that looks beyond symptoms to explore the factors influencing how the body functions and recovers. This may include digestive function, hormone signalling, nervous system load, nutrient status, sleep quality, and lifestyle influences.
Health concerns that persist or fluctuate over time often benefit from an integrated perspective, one that considers how systems interact, rather than viewing issues in isolation.
A different way of thinking about health
Much of the confusion around health comes from rigid rules, diet culture, and the idea that there is one “right” way to eat or live.
I encourage a move away from food dogma and towards nourishment that is practical, sustainable, and grounded in real food. Eating well does not need to be overwhelming or restrictive, and it should not feel like a constant battle.
Lasting change rarely comes from quick fixes. More often, it comes from understanding how your body responds, what it needs, and how to support it consistently over time.
At the core of my work is the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the right conditions. Everyone deserves to feel supported, informed, and at home in their body.
A clinical, integrative framework
My approach draws on naturopathic principles grounded in current clinical evidence. Care may include nutrition, lifestyle and stress-support strategies, herbal and nutritional medicine, and functional testing where appropriate.
Testing is not always required, and many people make meaningful progress without it. When testing is helpful, recommendations are discussed carefully and used to guide targeted, individualised care.
Working together
I work best with people who are seeking a thoughtful, collaborative approach to health, particularly when symptoms feel interconnected, persistent, or difficult to untangle.
Consultations are available in person on the Sunshine Coast and via telehealth.
