My work focuses primarily on persistent digestive symptoms, alongside menstrual and hormonal concerns. Where symptoms overlap, each is assessed in context rather than attributed to a single cause.
Digestive Health
Persistent bloating, IBS, SIBO, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea and food sensitivities.
Menstrual & Hormonal Health
PMS, painful or irregular periods, heavy periods, PCOS and perimenopausal changes.
About Sara Judd
I’m Sara, a degree-qualified clinical naturopath (BHSc Clinical Naturopathy, ANTA), currently undertaking a Master of Human Nutrition at Deakin University.
My practice is based on the Sunshine Coast, with a clinical focus on persistent digestive symptoms and women’s health, particularly when previous approaches haven’t led to lasting change.
I take a careful and selective approach to testing and treatment. You’ll understand what we’re doing, why it matters and how we’ll assess whether it is helping.
Consultations are available in Maroochydore and Forest Glen, as well as Australia-wide via Telehealth.
How I approach persistent symptoms
Similar symptoms do not always have the same explanation. I consider how your symptoms developed, how they have changed over time, what else was occurring and how you responded to previous treatment.
Existing pathology and prior investigations are reviewed before anything further is recommended. The aim is to identify which factors appear most relevant, what deserves attention first and whether additional testing would meaningfully influence the plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The initial consultation is used to organise the history, identify the immediate priorities and explain the clinical reasoning behind the proposed next steps. You’ll receive a focused plan outlining what to do first, why it has been recommended and how progress will be reviewed.
-
No. Your history and existing pathology are considered first. Further testing is recommended only when the result is likely to provide useful information or meaningfully influence the plan. The reasoning and costs are discussed before anything is ordered.
-
Not necessarily. Dietary recommendations depend on your symptoms, nutritional needs and what has already been tried. Where temporary restriction may be useful, the purpose, duration and plan for reintroduction will be clearly explained.
Not sure what deserves attention next?
An initial consultation brings together your symptoms, health history, existing results and previous treatment to identify the immediate priorities and decide whether further investigation is likely to change the plan.
Consultations are available in Maroochydore and Forest Glen, or via Telehealth Australia-wide.
